small particle dirt floating

My community tank has very small particles of dirt floating around the water column. I have a 60 gallon BB tank with 2 sponge filters. Fish are all healthy so no real issue although I'd like to get the water cleaned up. Sponge filters just won't do the job......any suggestions?

I use the Eheim canister filters. Eheim 2213 will work great.....
