aquaponic discus filtration

I've done hydroponic systems a lot so I'm using one of my smaller kits and making a aquaponic set up on the fish tank to help clean so wish me luck

there shouldnt be enough nitrate in a discus system to grow any vegetation

Most systems run on a timer but I figured on running a none stop trickle flow so the little I do have would run threw it with using river pebble and coconut husk it would hold I'm just gonna keep a bonzie tree or a lil herb garden nothing big probably some mint it make the room smell nice

The discus can't handle the high sodium lights it's to bright so it's a no go
