TRying to one day keep/ not breed rams and cardinal tetras.

I tested my tap waters ph at pet land ( closest place to me) according to them it has a ph of 7 neutral. World of fish has RO water with a ph of 5. I'm looking at possibly doing either 50% RO or 100% RO water from world of fish sense rams/tetras like/need low ph. Some guys on another fourm told me to do 50% RO, 50% tap but sense the tap and the RO are so different ph wise would this wide swing cause problems for german blue rams/cardinal tetras? :confused:


note I plan on using a product world of fish sells Remineralize RO. and declorinator.

your water alone sounds fine for them to me. I keep rams in 7.3 - 7.5+

I have about 50 cardnals and 4 rams and solely on tap....no RO units only wc and prime.

You have no need for R/O.
