Plecos - not sure if they are sick

I have two large plecos - about 5 inches in my angel community tank. I have noticed their poo is floating and parts of it look slimy.... they are eating and acting normally but they do look a little more dark than normal.

I do not want to medicate unnecessarily, anyone have any thoughts?

Usually if the fish is eating it's a good sign they r OK. I don't know much about Plecos w/ sickness or disease. I do know they r pretty sensitive to parameter changes & different medicines. Double check ur water parameters. Maybe change up their diet. Change brands or add some Algae Discs. U can even put in a slice of a cucumber or zucchini. But make sure. Its 1 of those. Hope things work out.
