Hello friends,

If you don't have a flush kit, is there a way to clean the RO tank manually without any type of damage?

Also, do you need to clean the whole system (housings etc.)? I just installed new filters and recently the membrane but was told you should clean the system with a bleach/water mix once per year. I am assuming even though I cleaned all the housings for the filters, I should clean the lines and membrane housing too? I did clean the membrane housing when I installed the new one 8 months ago, but figure I would ask the experts if I should clean the whole system minus the filters?

Thanks,

Jeff

I have a 100 gallon storage tank and clean it once a year in the summer time (outside) using a 20/1 bleach solution, followed by filling, soak and rinse several times and let it dry out. I don't do anything with the unit itself except change filters. This is just what I was told to do.
