ammonia after cycle

I've been fish less cycling my 40 about 1 month and 3 weeks ago, a couple days ago my nitries finally went down to 0 and nitrates Where at 20 ppm but the thing is my ammonia was at 1.0 ppm and he been the same since, any advice on what's happening or what should I do?

Its very close and your ammonia will probably be down to zero in 4 or 7 days.

so would I keep adding pure ammonia or just leave it?
