I have healthy, active blue turqs (cobalt x turq) and red turqs that are approximately two inches total length (includes tail). The price is $18 each or $16 each for 10 or more. I ship discus using fedex priority overnight, and I ship with oxygen, bag buddies and heat packs. I also have sterbai cories, six for $40. I can meet people as far west as Pittsfield and as far east as Spencer on week days, and pick-ups are welcome.

Just wanted to let you know that the fry I received a few weeks ago are doing great. They have gotten use to my ugly mug and are like puppies at the glass always begging for more. Good luck with the sale.

Hello Martha This is George from Springfield I adopted 10 discus from you about three months ago and lost a few but most are looking absolutely wonderful. Have learned a bit since your lesson when I came out and have both tanks pretty well suited for maybe a few more additions. Do you have any available and if not when do you suspect. I was not feeling well for the last meeting at the Science Museum but am looking forward to attending and learning in the fall. Look forward to hearing from you.

I have both red and blue highbody turqs available, both groups around two inches (tail included). The price is $18 each, or $16 each for 10 or more. The discus are shipped using either fedex priority overnight or USPS overnight express (the latter only if the buyer falls within the one-day zone). They are shipped with heat packs (when necessary), oxygen and bag buddies. Live arrival is guaranteed, and the minimum order for shipping is five. The actual fish for sale are pictured below, and the parents are pictured at the beginning of the thread. Please e-mail me with any questions and for shipping quotes. Thanks.

I honestly have to say, I'm very pleased with my new discus. I just received 10 discus 5 blue 5 red. The care in which these fish were packed is obvious. I have been keeping african's for 20 + yrs. In my yrs keeping africans i have ordered from many importers and never have I received fish that were so carefully packed. Fish are now settling in their new digs. I will post pics soon..

Thanks again!

I buy a lot stuff from kensfish using ups ground, it took 1 day max to get here. Should be the same for fedx ground. I wish i can come by but my work hrs dont allow me to do much. its work, sleep, work, sleep for me.

I looked it up and you do appear to be in the fedex ground one-day zone! How 'bout that. Learn something every day. USPS express is often an option too. If you send me your zip and the number of discus you are interested in I'll get you a shipping quote. You know what they say about all work and no play. :)

Martha do you have s picof the 3R2's

Yes. :) I have two inch blue turqs plus red turqs and 3R2's that are a bit small (maybe 1 1/2 in) yet but people are buying them anyway.

mmorris
07-07-2013, 03:14 PM
That batch of 3R2's are long gone. I have another smallish batch, too young to sell yet. I have a short waiting list and I need to contact them first when they are a bit larger. I'm happy to get a pic up anyway, as soon as I get a chance.

I currently have blue turqs and red turqs available. The blue turqs are 2 1/2 + inches, and the red turqs are just two inches. This is a different pair of red turqs and are they red! Fry from my other pair of red turqs, pictured on p. 1, should be ready in a month or so. The turqs are $18 each, or $16 each for 10 or more. I included a pic of the 3R2 fry, but as I said above, I need to notify those who expressed an interest first. Those are $23 and are usually sold by 1 1/2 inches. This is a link to pics of the 3R2 pair: http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?101374-3R2-Update

To add to the many other satisfied people who have posted: I bought some of the blue turqs and sterbai corys from Martha a couple of months ago. I'll have to post some pics, but I just wanted to say that I had a 100% survival rate and every fish I got from her is thriving, growing rapidly, and becoming more beautiful by the day. Martha is a breeder who does things the right way, plain and simple. Thanks again; I hope the summer has been treating you well!

Martha,
I live in MA and am very interested in a future purchase. I currently have discus but haven't had much luck finding a more local resource with them. What varieties do you breed and can you tell me what you may expect to have available around the March 2014 time frame?
Thanks,

Hi folks, my apologies for the delayed response. I've been swamped in work the last few months. I have some red turqs that are about two inches. Sorry, Eric, I don't text! Shipping will probably be $70 or more to San Diego. It's impossible to know what I will have in March. I normally have turqs but I have a couple other varieties I have high hopes for. Time will tell.

I got this nice female from Martha August of 2012 with the batch of contest fish. This is from her High Body Blue Turquoise Line. I just love these and the best part is watching them grow out!!!! This video was taken a few minutes after dropping her in the tank with the big guy.

Just a quick picture of Martha's high-body blue turqs that I bought as babies a handful of months ago. For reference, those black angels are very large! My wife shot the picture quickly yesterday with SnapChat, an app that is very low-res and tends to wash out colors quite a bit - they look much more colorful in person. All of the discus and sterbai cories that I bought from Martha are doing great.

Thanks for posting, Josh! They look great! It's always nice to see pics of the kids when they grow up. :) The PVAS auction is coming up on Feb. 9, and I'll be donating six red and blue turqs to the raffle. I hope you can make it!

That sounds awesome and is so nice of you to do! Unfortunately, I'll be working in the NICU that month about 90 hrs./week and mostly overnight, plus my 2-hr. round trip daily commute, so won't be able to make it.

On a more exciting note, I'm introducing the 5 blue turqs I have from you to 5 Stendker tefes that have been quarantined FOREVER and have looked incredibly healthy ever since I got them... here's to hoping it goes swimmingly (pun intended)!

Have a great night everybody,
Josh

Any ideas when you will be selling high body cobalts again?
Where did you get your red turq breeding stock?
Thanks

01-18-2014, 08:50 AM
Discusdude7: maybe you're just interested in the red turqs in general, but just to avoid confusion/for what it's worth, I don't think the straight line red turq in the video is from Martha. Kingdom Come Discus was adding one of Martha's blue turqs to a straight line req turq he already had.

That's my take on it too, Josh. My red turqs originally came from Kenny. No idea on the cobalts.
