Light for 55G

Hi,

I have a 55g with a weird size, it is a 35L x 15 W x 24 H.
Right now i have 2 x 24w T5HO lamp but i want to grow some plants (including HC).
Do you think this light is enough?
I can either put my old fixture with a regular T8 17w or should i get 1 or 2 more t5HO?

You need a lot more light than that probable 2-3 times the amout you have (2x24). HC requires the light to penetrate all the way down to the substrate level, also you will need co2 to get any real growth with HC

+1 in the co2, if you're not doing it the light will just create a lot of algae
