I'm looking at building some stands to stack my tanks so I can get another breeding pair. Does anyone have plans or recommendations for store bought stands that would allow me to stack two 29's and two 55's?

thanks

Andrew

Just as an update I ended up coming up with my own design to fit my needs and will post updates here.

Here's the basically finished product. Painted the bottom white and the sides blue so I don't have to paint the tank itself.

You will still need to paint the bottom of the tank, otherwise it will only look like a mirror to you. Otherwise I like the stand and the pre-plumbed water lines.

I know it will look like a mirror to me I dot really mind that I did it for the fish mainly. I might end up painting the tank anyway though we will see.

I can't wait to use the water lines though I've been doing daily water changes with a python and a hose coming from my aging barrel up until now hoping this will speed it up a little. Going to use water from changes and pump in straight to back yard to water plants and lawn.

That is exactly what I do, I have a pipe thru my wall that goes into a 275 gal tote. Once the tote is full I turn on the pump and water my entire back lawn. I'm actually saving money this way as my water bill with 10 aquariums is cheaper now than before the aquariums.

Good luck

Finally in use. Wonderful improvement over keeping a tank on the floor.
