And I have a question. I have two tanks to do water changes on, a 55 gal and a 125 gal, which size pump would you recommend? I was looking at the mag drive 9.5. I want it to be powerful enough to pump they 50' of vinyl hose.
I want to make sure I understand this, I would have one hose connected to the pump with a vac hose to put inside the tank to vacuum and drain, and a second hose connected to the pump that drains to a sink or garden, etc. this pump wold sit outside of the tan ( not submerged in water) correct? Does anyone know if this is very loud?
