Hello Everyone I was mulling this around and if there is interest I was thinking of hosting a end of summer meeting at my place? I was think 3rd weekend in September but I am open to suggestions? So let me know what you guys think?:bandana:

Oh i live just outside of Philadelphia at near the Philadelphia International Airport.

New to discus but i would love to meet other discus folks,I live just over the ben franklin bridge in New jersey.Would like to come if i am invited.

Ok So far seems to be looking good as far as a core group! I think it will be a good time had by all. Al said he will be able to make the 8th but I wont decide on a date for a few weeks yet as it is so far away theres time to decide as always ALL are Welcome to attend!!!! These get togethers are a good time and a great way to get to know other discus Nuts lol.

Ok folks I have a definet date it is going to be held September eighth. So mark your calenders and get ready for a fun time.

I would love to go....as long as my wife lets me.....19 month old drive her nuts... i have 2-4 fish that i want to sell or trade.... it is not the best quality fish - i will post picture and see if it is worth bringing.

Oscar, these events are friendly get togethers that have one thing in common, Discus. I have quite a few hobbies, but I always make time to attend these NEDA meetings, they're worth the ride!

I'm giddy just thinking about seeing everyone again!

Oscar, our NEDA meetings are attended by hobbyists thru out the North east and often from places as far as Canada, Tenn ,Chicago etc. Its a chance to socialize with Hobbyists with similar interests, learn from each other and have a great time. It also serves as a way to get past online personas and actually get to know the person behind the name..We've been holding these get togethers for about 10 years now, several times a year.

Ladies and Gentlemen I am disappointed to tell everyone I am canceling the NEDA meeting on 9-8-12 due to the fact that my mother Died last night. She had been ill and lost her battle with breast cancer. Since this I am goint to cancel the get together. I am not in frame of mind for hosting a get together at this point. I am sorry for any inconvience and I will see about it in the future. I will pm every one who was going to come. Once again sorry for any disappointment.
