Tefe RSG and Future Breeding Stock

These are a couple of nice young Tefe RSGs I picked up from Mark a couple of months ago. I hope these will growup and be next years breeders. The fish in the third picture does have a old bite wound but I could not pass up the shape on this little fish.

This is the Kraig's NADA show third place winner in the wild class. A gorgeous Royal spotted Tefe.

What would the breeding strain be? Are you going to cross them with anything?

Thanks Jeff, It will be my own strain from all wild green Tefes or my F1 Tefe foundation stock. No crosses are planned at this time. See the thread "Vintage Strain Development" in my homesteader section. I hope these fish will be parents of Batch C for next year.

I know those guys are wilds, I was refering to the hopeful F1 line off of them ;) I'll pop you a PM about the stock, I know your raising the first groups for the contest, and this isnt something Im looking for immediately, I have my hands full with domestic fry right now anyway.
