Dear discus masters,
Kindly help to identify my discus strain(s)... I'm a bit confuse -- are they blue turquoise / red turquoise or others? Are they good quality enough to breed?

Thanks in advance!

When I first saw them, one looked like a blue turquoise and the rest were red turquoise. Look great to breed.

Hard to tell for sure but appear to be red turq. The quality seem to be fine. More pictures would help.

Agree with the Red Turq and looks like a checkerboard or maze variety. They appear young for breeding just yet but they certainly could create some nice youngins. ;)

Actually, a tiger turq would be more consistent with vertical lines throughout the body.

Here's a pretty good example of a decent tiger turq.

I agree with Henry an Lofty, they look kind of young I agree but with better pic's that might give us a better perspective. JMO Jim in Ohio

Dear all,
These are better shots. They are now ~4.5 - 5 inches. Should be just about to start breed?

Yeah, they have tiger in them but more of a tiger checkerboard as you can see in the aft section if the fish, the maze pattern. Not breeding age yet in my observation. Maybe another 6-8 months as they definitely look like they'll grow some more. Nice color and pattern on them so you'd be working with some nice fish.
