Piwowarski Filter System

From reading the info on his site it doesn't look like he does water changes using his amazing filter system is cleaning out everything. Those that know his setup is this correct? If so that'an amazing system that he can do this with the amount of Discus stocked in all his tanks.

Just from a quick read, he does at least a 20% change. He loses 20% or 2000 liters in the osmosis filter that have to be replaced.

"Parallel to this filter system a partial flow of the water is purified with a so-called osmosis filter. The system has a yield of 80%. That means I am able to produce 8,000 litres of fresh water from 10,000 liters of aquarium water per day. This not only saves water but also plenty of energy, which would be necessary to heat 8,000 litres of cold tap water."

I'm from Germany and i life 10 kilometers away from his house. I know that he has changed his Filter System back to Sponge Filter. He sells the rotation filter which would bei seen following the Link.
