It has been bleached, scrubbed, rinsed, background painted, bottom (under tank) spray textured, and overflow box covered with 3D background (because was black). Now all I need is water and fish!

I do have one question....If they become peppered from black background...will a large piece of driftwood do the same?

Looks great! Don't worry so much about the objects in the tank causing pepper. The bottom of the tank has more of an effect on it. Also, clean quality pigeons make a difference. ;)

That looks really cool! Great idea! I think your fish will look very good in there, as Eddie says, get clean quality fish and you should be good to go! :)

You can avoid peppering by buying albino fish, and non-pigeon based fish, if you want. At least I think that's right.

I've had a non-pigeon based fish before and it peppered a bit. I agree with the albinos though.

Fish are already ordered from kenny and hans... Im super excited. I have the 29 gal ready too for the two from hans to be quarantined :). My husband dosent think i will keep up with water changes but i am! I know these fish have great potential and im going to grow them to big beautiful babies!

Wow that tank looks great Jaime! Much better then mine haha. I really like that textured paint on the bottom wish i thought of that. If you felt like it i would highly recommend doing a grow out log like i have been it has really helped me and others who are new that read it as well. Plus its fun :).
