2000 pounds of angry potroast - someone had a very bad day
I took this photo in 1999 at the bull fight in Puerto Spain (Cadiz area by Rotta).
Pentax ME Super, Kalimar 500mm 1:8 lens (aspherical, but very inexpensive lens... T-Mount with the Pentax bayonet adapter).
Matador got turned into a door mat, and he walked off the field.
The bull was awarded two ears and some tail.

yes, but in Spain the bull is drug to a slaughterhouse off of the bull ring and then the meat is donated to nursing homes and others.

I have that combo too somewhere here Dave.Love the ME Super. Nice image made at a time when you had to work quite a bit harder for a picture and had to have alot of patience waiting to even see if you nailed it.

Thank you Al.
And when guys like me who are self taught learned we paid for our education in film and developing... it was great to get 15 usable images off of a roll of 24 frames.

That is a powerful image Dave and shows what can happen to a matador. If course they enter the ring knowing this. Good to hear the meat goes to a good cause.

Thank you Pat.
Had I had a better quality lens I think it would be a better image. I had to push the film to get this... (set ISO on camera for 800 when actually shooting ISO 200 film. ISO was film speed or how much light was needed to get a photo. The lower the ISO the more light needed).
