I went live discus and bummed

Got live fish last year with paydirt from work. Got the sand,wood,and some bells and whistles. Try to feed them some med metro food mix and they dropped dead. I had them in quaranteen a tester fish in there and everything then everyone dropped off down the line. They were a few weeks into making me drool on them. Probably should not of got the wild cories with them. ended up with one very expensive brown left and only one domestic low quality turk I have had forever.:mad::mad::(:(
