Which corals do you find grow and look the best in your reef tanks?? I have great luck with Blasto's acro's and zo's, as well as scolomia's when keep high enough in strong light.

hammers, torch, bubbles and ricordeas do well in mine
Nice corals and they do well in my reef tank as well. I also love the elegance corals but only the ones from Australia, they fare much better in the home aquarium. Have a bunch of acans, zoanthids and war corals, all so nice. What type of filtration do you find best? And water change schedule?
i just use tunze powerheads for water movement in the tank and a sump with an aquamedic skimmer, cheato, rubble and dose vodka for nitrate/phos control for water filtration with an eheim 3000 return. do a water change every 2 weeks of around 25ltrs seeems to work well in my system which is about 81gal uk 97gal us.
what sort you running.
never had much luck with elegance corals always seem to detach themselves with a few months :(
Well my SW nano has been neglected for a long time, so I can't say much looks good in there anymore....but when it was at its peak I had it all. Acans were probably my best looking LPS, Zoas (PPEs specifically) and GSP as my favorite softies, and I was a big fan of ORA purple monti digi and ORA Phil's for SPS.
Here are pics of my 36G Bow Frount set up:
The first pic, both type of corals came with the LR I bought at LFS. They have propagated well. I do 4G water changes every three weeks or so. No skimmer. It's been going well for the last three years.

Love the ORA digi's too and a LFS sells the best corals so I am in heaven when I go in, broke when I come out though.
Wow! Looks like we have a few Reefers and Salty's in here as well.
All corals look good no matter what colour. Just like a Garden. Mix and match as well as making sure we meet the requirements in terms of light and flow and nutrients.

while I do have stony corals, I really enjoy the simplicity of the soft corals, and lighting with PC's is so...... much cheaper ! check my pic!

You can keep LPS under PC's too, they are a nice choice. I use LED's now on my reef, far less heat, electricity and high PAR levels.
Ive had my tank setup since March. Ive bought a couple corals so far and I really like Xenias plus they are fairly easy. Thanks, Joe
