When I started with discus I was a chef and single. I am now married for 7 years and have a 5 year old daughter in kindergarden. I have had many fish breed for me but have only had a few to attach to the parents. I am also a paramedic now and love it. I was chosen to do this by god, I know that sounds weird but only he could choose something that well for me.

Hi all,
I graduated with a Biochemistry degree from undergrad. Was going to work at Memorial Sloane Kettering in NYC doing research on monoclonal antibody directed towards cancer cells. I decided at the end that I just couldn't see myself sitting in a lab all day doing bench research. After wandering aimlessly for a year, I though I better get my act together and decided to apply for medical school. After graduation, I did my training in Internal Medicine and then went on to specialize in Pulmonary diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Presently I practice pulmonary and critical care medicine and am on faculty at NYU Medical School. My main interest is in critical care and have done extensive research on Sepsis.
It's been a great experience for me to be part of this forum and will try to learn as much as I can from all of you.
