Beautiful Andras, when do the Xingu assume their adult coloration?
beautiful fish! I very much like these wilds....don't see them much!
Hi pat,
sorry for the late answer.
it is a good question. as i can see, my F1B group start right now. They are 7,5 months old now. i saw on facebook some 5 months fish which was yellow. the reason that my fish coloration start only now should be the food. i didnt feed them with special mix which contains color enhancers.
im going to update this week, just have to format the pics.:

Amazing tank setup. What kind of plant do you have showing roots in the tank?
that is a beautiful tank setup
Andras, love that first picture with the little ones. Which ones are the parents?
You make a good job. Congratulation.
Thanks guys.:)
The parents are the left and the second from left side. Similar than the young fish from the bottom picture.
the female is very aggressive.:)
The plants are 2 philodendron (Monstera deliciosa) and 2 Aglaonema.
what a beautiful tank shot - it's not often I see fry swimming around in a community tank! lovely.
and impressive.....your youngsters look to be maturing nicely!
thanks.:)
the numbers of the frys are stabilized after the 3rd week. Now they are 3-3.5cm, and eat with the big ones from my hand.:)
Hi my friends,
it is the time to update the topic with some pictures. I reorganized the tanks, and put the F1A group to the showing tank, and the frys to the bottom 1k liter.
the result:
Some eggs in the showing tank:
