MMM - Looks like a large muddie. Must have been delicious. I used to catch a few at Palm Beah just north of Sydney. I like them with chilie, as they do it in Singapore. Had one at Jordans in Darling Harbour once. It was almost good enough to die for!
Tony.
PS How do you get the Aussie Flag in your message page?
That's Palm Beach. Not Palm Beah!
::)Tony.
Hey Tony,
He was better than delicious! I like salt and pepper crab, chinese style with ginger and noodles, chilly crab, crab mornay or even better lobster mornay... *drool*
Click on your profile (at the top of nearly every page) and choose Australia as your country and hey presto!

Hi Chong,
My permanent home is in Seaforth, near Manly in Sydney. At the moment, however, I am a Foreign Service Employee working and living in Zurich, Switzerland.
Tony.
Righto! Plenty good discus there! ;D So where's your pic hmm?
Chong
Where are all those good discus here that you mention?
I have a photo in Lotus Notes - can you tell me how to transfer it to this site?
Tony.
Hi Chong,
That looked like a Sri Lankan crab I once had in a restaurant in Singapore. Very spicy and very good.
Redspotted,
I caught him in a local river! Honest! He's a regular brown mud crab. Once cooked his shell turns red. Oh and the females are protected. This pic is proof that he is a big male!

Lotus: save the pic to your hardrive as a jpg or whatever, then reply to this post, click Browse button to attach the picture to the post. Then click post!
