I been watching my video feed and the seem to pecking at each other and the male is doing most of the work. I wonder if the female needs to be moved? Should I start them with brine shrimp or wait one more day. It's been only 2 days as free swimmers.
I think first add more water to the tank to give them more room since the fry seems to be all attached and go from there.
I waited a week or 2 before adding bbs. Let the babies eat the slime coat. I think it’s better for fry.
Meanwhile in 29 gallon tank #2.

By all means,, raise the water level now. As far as moving the female, it'a decisiononly you can make, but when in doubt, the safest thing to do is remove her. Personally, I hate having to split up a pair. I only do it when I get nervous about one of them losing it's mind and either it hurting it's mate, gets beat up itself, or eat the kids
Here is a video of the other pair in tank #2.

Well done Chuck! So happy for you mate. Good one for keeping on pushing and being patient. Whoop whoop!
Wow both pairs!! Congrats!!
Once you get your water right you've got it licked. Yes, the parents can be stupid sometimes, but at least you know that it's not your fault.
So what was the winning water parameters on the pair that attached?

Ok jumped the gun the fry is still with the second pair.
Water, I kept tank water at 80 PPM with some alkaline buffer to a PH of 7.5 temperature of 83 F. The eggs did go in the container with RO until the eggs darkened but not at wiggler stage(just before). I caged them until they were use to them and then removed the cage. They did a great job caring for the the wigglers after they hatched.I had the tank covered until they were all attached. I did the same with the second pair. To my surprize the big old Marlboro shown to be a great parent.
Bloody marvelous mate!
I started a new thread for the second pair "Panda & Eruption Surprise".
still doing good this afternoon and their more on the other side of the big guy.
