They are a quarter size maybe just a little bit more @ 20 days old but if they are dying its no good..

I did notice one thing, I open a couple little ones to check their gills and notice that they were gone check the pic..

I know Pat :(. No the gill outside I mean to say the interior of the gill idk what's call lol but the picture shows when I open it with a knife the inside is pretty much empty I think they got burn with the wc's who knows ..

Thanks guys it's all good it's part of the hobby... Larry thanks for the idea, that's exactly what I'm doing tonight get them to star again I still got time August 15 ..

Arturo, a tough call for sure but better in the long run. I am strongly considering doing the same with my small spawn. The fish seem weak and about a third are quite small. Best of luck with the next batch.

Thanks Pat, I will defenatly get the rest out of the tank so I can star fresh again, whatever decision you end up taken I wish you the best :)

Sorry to hear of the loss. Just a quick question, have they been raised in the water with PH of 6.2 and the low conductivity?

I don't think it's water changes.
I used to use tap water: chlorinated. Never had any issues, as long as I put in prime/safe/dechlorinator

No problem.. And yes I raise all my fry at those parameters as a matter fact I have 2 other baches at 2 1/2 inches and they were affected too but they are only breathing fast and eating less but they are fine ..

same here, i use tap water w/ prime too and hope it's not because of tap water. I'll need to retest my water.
