The pair has laid eggs another time.
Note: the tank is 140 gallons and it has 7 discus fish including the pair.
1- I moved the other discus fish to another tank.
Is it the correct to do or i should do somethings else.
Thanks
ahmad
Hi Ahmad:
I would worry that the babies might get too spread out in a 140 gallon tank. However, I know Dennis Hardenberger uses 60 gallons tanks. So try it and see if the babies stay close to the parents. If the babies wander off and don't attach to the parents I would try a 29 gallon tank.
Wow loves the pics of Bettas, i Tired breeding Bettas in November last year. I couldn't get past the stage of free swimmign as for some reason tehy died off, but i breed some paradise fish over the summer, they died about a week ago. They were only 3 weeks old, but trust me they hardly grew. They were smaller at 3 weeks of age then when livebearers are first born!!
I lost alot due to P.H shock but this one is one of the better survivors
Here is a BD x BT mix, large one is 6in.

Nice looking fish. be proud. they look like "keepers".
Feed them well and give them plenty of fresh water ... you may be surprised.

Will definitely keep them since they are the first batch of juv that I've successfully raised from frys.
Children are children. Be proud and take care; buddy
I hope i can share my own pic here soon.... based on all post messages here I guess I am lucky since both parents take care of the fry and consider this is my first time :) the fry are already 10 days old..
Just want to ask something.... do you have any part on this site that has the meaning of all the abbrebiation used on this site like SS ???
