Issue with breeders please advice

I have a new discus only 10 or so days now. Hasn't eaten yet! Already it has paired off with my single discus and layed eggs and failed after 5 days. They seem to fight alot! I bought a breeder tank 29g.. my new idea is to put my older bully discus I the breeder tank by himself (He has also stopped eating since eggs) I want to give my newer fish a rest and get him to at least start eating? Or do I put the newer fish in the breeder tank and raise the temperature to 88 or higher to induce hunger? Current tank is 84.5 as it has now become a community tank..
