Okay, I got tired of looking at a black background so decided to finally try out the green thing.
I didn't want to paint right on the aquarium... what if I didn't like it? Then what, peel it off and start over? SO... I got a little crafty and headed to Home Depot. A very nice lady helped me throughout the store when i told her what I wanted to do. She showed me a piece of wood very light, smooth surface, and only 3/8 inch thick. I cut out the size i needed and painted that instead of the back of my tank. I fit it so it sits right on the edge of the black trim of the tank. It is staying in place with the HOB filter and clear postage tape on the 4 corners. I LOVE it. If I ever want to try a new color.. just take it off paint it and put it back on! Here's a few pics. (yep bubbles on tank means w/c)
