A Query about Beef Heart Mix
I am about to get my discus shortly and want to feed them a beef heart mix.
My question is will this beef heart mix have a really negative effect on the tetras in the tank (dither fish) (currently have glowlights, Harlequin Rasboras, Cardinals and plan to get some Cherry barbs)?
Re: A Query about Beef Heart Mix
I recently bought about 30 Rummy Nose that were very small and thin. Ive been shaving beef heart mix off a frozen block , putting some VitaChem on it and feeding them that. They love it and are growing like weeds. They've doubled their size and developed nice red noses in two weeks. Another thing they tear into is the loose FDBW from the bottom of the bag.
Re: A Query about Beef Heart Mix
I agree with Mike! Tetras love our beefheart mix. The Cory cats love it too, as do the other bottom feeders. Just get a good quality beefheart mix that doesn't cloud up your tank, or make your own. We have a good recipe for non-clouding beefheart mix on our website.

This. I have used their recipe for years. It is easy to make and the fish love it. They also have a youtube video of it being made which made it so much easier to follow and reassured me I was making it correctly.

Could you guys link me to that recipie as well as video.
I have seen multiple recipies on this site in the food recipies sticky thread. Would appreciate to know which one is considered the best recipie and least clouding one.
