Is it true that beneficial bacteria would only grow in biomedia when water is flowing through it or would the beneficial bacteria grow on biomedia submerged inside an aquarium in a mesh bag.
There always some free flowing beneficial bacteria inside the tank, I have seen people putting bio inside a tank and should works too.
