That’s my very first planted tank, so there will be some mistakes. For instance I need to change light to something smaller, or covering bulb better as it blinds if you look from some angle.
Thoughts?

Nice tank. I also like the saying that you have framed over the tank.

Nice, well done.
During quarantine many people have time on things they wanted to do long time ago. I finally finished my research writing for https://customwritingz.net.

Re: My first planted tank
Thanks ... tank changed a little bit. A big monstera plants has submerged roots and taking out all possible nitrates.
Tank has also quite a few (50?) new habitats - red cherry shrimps which are breeding there like crazy.
I did a water change last month and only add evaporated water once per week.
... ah and by betta and shrimps are feeding with beef heart mix.

Re: My first planted tank
Tank looks great! You also got lucky. Bettas sometimes eat shrimp. I gave 20 to a friend to try with his betta and it ate all 20. Was swimming around with shrimp sticking out of its mouth. I’ve got 2 cherry shrimp tanks and regularly add them to my discus tank.
Re: My first planted tank
That betta prefers beef heart over shrimp :)
Yeah .. I have moved already few dozen shrimps to a discus tank.

It’s 5 weeks without a water change, cleaning glass ... I guess I did it 4 months ago :) I’m adding only evaporated water- and still no NO3, even if betta is on beef heart mix diet
