Does anybody know about kiki wood?
Does it leach tannins? What does it do to the pH? Would my pleco like it? Is it as nutritious and provide fiber like mopani?

I have never heard of this wood. How about soaking it in a bucket of water for a time and seeing what it does?
so you either have to be willing for your fish to be a crash test dummy, or you buy something that has is more commonly used...I know which way I would go, especially if you are investing in discus...

...Ralph
Never heard of it before .
I wouldn't like to be the first one using it on my discus .
