It's lovely. Very classic. But will it survive the cats?
Lol.. well we do have to put the glass ornaments up top. DANTE is 6 and doesnt climb much...Leo is 4 and a holy terror when it comes to climbing. But he usually wrecks havoc only on bottom ornaments. .. we do usually find a few sacrificial lambs here and there.:)
At least it's not so classic that it's decorated with candles. Best of luck.
This is how we protect christmas trees and other tall fragile areas..

No way to keep them from climbing..so why try..
What a great idea Al, cat condo :D When I brought my two new barn cats home, I kept them in the barn since they were going to be outside cats (Tom is allergic to cats even thru he loves cats) The rescue lady wanted them to stay in the barn for 30 days so they would accept the barn as their new place. Those silly cats ended up staying in the rafters of the barn the first two weeks and I didn't even see them in that time frame. I am happy to say the cats accepted their new home and have slowly warmed up to me.

With the new Kitten wooden ornaments on the bottom (or all over the floor).

DANTE about to make a liar out of me. :)
Not yet but she is all over the house, in the basement she plays with all the fish tank wires, cameras, and steps on the tank light remotes and all of a sudden you have an RGB multicolor light show.
I had 2 kittens in the past that liked to sleep mid tree on the branches so I know what you mean.
Well Chuck even if she does climb shes a cutie and I hope she is the event breaker for your streak of bad luck.:)
