They look like a pigeon blood similar to the Red Eagles or Checkerboard pigeon Kenny sells. You might check out his February sale thread in the sponsors section just for comparison. Looks like someone bred a similar strain and got a range of patterning. Maybe crossed with one of the white-faced red strains.

The top picture is definitely from Kenny's monthly release photos. Not sure of the other.

these are the picture from the breeder down south here in Taiwan.
he should receive them by the end of february ( 20th)-
the first picture is his facebook profile and the second one is the one he sent me
the fishes i am supposed to buy will be 4 to 4.5 inches - i will first need to check them personally before making any purchase - price is around 45 usd per fish.

its good for new beginner:)
Re: Strain List for Beginners (pictures)
This is a very helpful thread, it’s difficult to tell the difference between some strains as a beginner. I am just wondering, a lot of pictures on the thread are now unable to be viewed because of changes with photobucket policy. Could these pictures be removed and new pictures posted to replace them? Cheers,
Jimmy

I'm afraid that can not be done Jimmy .
Every member that ever posted in this or every other thread on the forum via Photobucket should pay the charge individually to them , in order his pics to be reopened again . And I personally doubt many of the former Photo bucket users will do that.
Re: Strain List for Beginners (pictures)
I understand that, I was more hopeful that someone could go through and upload new photos of the strains that are now no longer visible to everyone. And then delete the old posts that are no longer visible. It’s a heap of work but would be greatly appreciated.

Nice idea Jimmy. We can certainly take this in consideration and replace or just delete some of the old corrupted photos in this thread .
Thanks for contributing.
