No. I have two for my 120 with 29 gallon sump.

Looking at the flow graphics it appears it will pump about 800 gal/hr at 5 feet of head. I think it would probable be ok, but we know that 2 will be enough plus the security you receive by 100% backup in case the pump fails. $70 is a small price for the insurance.

I will bump up to the 8000. Good point about running 2 of them, but im also running a canister filter and two sponges.
I have 2 6000's for a 22g tank! Lol. Mind you, it's for a SW setup :)
