Tin, those are spectacular pictures. Wish you the very best on your babies. Are those the ones you got from Brian?
Susan,
Glad to see that you are still here. Yes, these are the pair that I got from Brian. I can't seem to keep the fries longer than 11 days. I've tried removing the female, but it seems like they are still being eaten after 10 days. I came home to another batch of new eggs yesterday, so the cycle goes again. This time I'm thinking of leaving the mom in there. I'll have the camera ready for day 11 with luck. Hope your move went well.
Thanks Tin, we are coming along, slowly but surely. Your fish look wonderful. Keep up the good work. We will be in Brandon in September, would love to visit you and your fish then, if it works for you. Susan
Dude, that pic in post 10 is unreal. You have to have a bionic super camera to be getting shots like that. Outstanding!
that is one of the best posts i have ever seen!
and definately the best photos i have ever seen. thanks so much for sharing them with us. keep the pics coming

Very nice pictures, Tin.
Are those fungus growing with the fry on Day 3 and 4?
man those are very cool pics
Thank you for the nice comments everyone. Yes, that is fungus growing from the unhatched eggs.
How about an update Tin, cant wait to see how those little fellers turn out. Also, what kind of camera are you using?
Hey Susan,
We’ve been quite busy lately. We are currently searching for a new home and that has taken a lot of our time. As for the discus, they love to spawn and then eat their babies. Don't know what else to say about them. They are cute, but are not that well behaved. They are so spoiled, always waiting for me to do things for them.
Tin, amazinggggggggggggg pictures. Right up there with some of the National Geographic pictures. Did you use additional lenses like macro zoom lens etc. I have an old Canon powershot A40 good camera but bad photographer.
Very nice, loving the closeup shots.
what camera you using? in the market for a camera
