Great pics Liz, cool looking clan of puppies! Love the outside pic :D
I let them out of the puppy pen twice a day so they can run around more. I have to be there when I let them out, though. I'm afraid a hawk might grab one. They come in at around 6 and I set up their pen on puppy pee pads for the night. Boy oh boy to they pee and poop. As soon as I wake up I set their pen outside so I can shake out the puppy pads and put them in the wash.
What a cute bunch of puppies Liz! Congratulations!
Al
I can see your home being a very happy place with all your lovely pets around you. Cute pups. Nice work Liz
I love them! Great happy bunch.
Thank you gentlemen. I love them, too.
They are so cute Liz and sounds like you take wonderful care of them. :D You have found homes for a couple of them?

I'm so excited. One of the nice ladies that I chatted with an the discount junk store called and asked to see the puppies. She actually picked one out. It's the second shortest legged one (I'm keeping the shortest legged because he makes me smile). The puppy is totally black from head to toe. I thought that the black ones would be the last to go.
She's going to have to wait a bit. I'm giving them their first vacs Saturday and the following Saturday I want to give them their second worming.
So exciting to hear one of the pups will soon have a new mom Liz. You are such a good mom and setting up the pups to be as healthy as can be is a great start to life. :D

I don't know if she will come get her puppy or not. I told her a few days ago that they had all been vaccinated once and wormed twice and were ready to go. I wish that if she had changed her mind she would call and tell me. Until then, I'm waiting...The other lady, a customer with an old dog who won't last too much long ago called and told me that she had changed her mind. I guess I don't know enough people...
These babies will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. It's so much fun to see them learning the world in the country. It's amazing how quickly they figure out country life. I still bring them in at night and put them in their play pen attached to a huge crate with a big bed. I only put paper down for them to pee and poop on in a part of the pen. These smart babies know to go on the paper. Even when I let one or two inside the house during the day they go on the paper.
I can't keep these little 'uns forever. I will wait for as long as I can before I take them to the humane society. I decided that it was a better option that posting "free puppies" posters everywhere since I can't vet the prospective owners that way. I've decided that when the get too much for me, and before I get too fond of every single one I will take them to the humane society. They will be well socialized and either go outside to pee and poo or do it on paper by then. They will be 12 to 15 lbs. at maturity and the humane society spays and neuters before they let them go, so the new owners pay money for them. I figure that someone who has to pay money will give a puppy a better home that someone who sees a "free puppies" poster.
I have found homes for just 3 so far. I'm keeping 3:o, so that leaves just two to find homes for. I'm going to put them on "Pet Finder" It's better than having to take them to the shelter. Not so much stress to me or the puppies.
They will be 3 months old on the 5th. They still seem to grow 'most every day. They are just starting to resemble adult dogs but they still are either full out playing or asleep. Here's a pic of my favorite, Pearl. Does her expression capture your heart like it does mine?
Indeed she does Liz, What a cutie :)

Here are the other 2 I'm keeping. Brindle in the foreground and Stubby in the background.
Oh how sweet they are! Glad you are keeping the 3, they will bring you much joy.
