Looking good Arturo! I have never seen such small fry picking at a cube of frozen beefheart mix at 12 days old! I am always so proud to see a spawn of discus eggs on one of my cones. Well done, keep up those wc's! I will follow your progress here,
Barb

Thanks Barb, I think I was just lucky this time, hopefully I can get them big; my fish loves your cones :) thanks once again and I'll get a picture of them tonight so I can posted ...
Re: Arturo's Contest Fish
Agreed; interesting to have them on beef heart this early
You might end up with some nice growth!
Re: Arturo's Contest Fish
Hi Arturo, congratulations for your fry!
I´m surprised about the beefheart on early stage but it seems to work...
how much water (%) do you change each day? do you match Ph before adding?

95% every night and the ph is usually the same straight from tap water..

Re: Arturo's Contest Fish
I must report that I got home today and 5 of my fry were dead, and a lots of them are breeding fast and stay at the top of the aquarium I did check ammonia and nitrite they are at 0. I dont know what the problem is, the only problem I can think of is doing 2 Wc's yesterday the second one was not aged water .... their gills kind of turn red a little bit but idk any opinions here?
Re: Arturo's Contest Fish
What's your temp.? Do you use prime etc. any chance you overdosed (it will reduce O2 as well)?

Why was the second water change done without aged water?

I made the mistake on making all my Wc's And used all my aged water and later that night decide to do a second wc when I didn't have no aged water ...
