Spent some time at the hawk watch, got a sharpie dive bombing a red tailed, completely back lit photo. Also have a Kestrel eating a dragon fly as it flew by.

Lot's of Butterflies this time of year.
Yes that's it. It was a relatively quiet day but we saw Bald Eagles, Ravens, Sharpies and Coopers, Local Red Tails, Black Vultures and some Warblers passing through.

Here's the Sharpie attack with normal lighting. I kind of like the back lit photos sometimes.
Sounds like it was a good day out....Saw some good birds and got some nice shots. Perfect.

Savannah Sparrow..very cropped pic.

This one threw me for a curve a bit. Sparrows can be confusing and this ones got alot of yellowish in its head but that streaked breast converging to a smudged circular patch and it sitting on top a tree like that suggests Song Sparrow. I have to say savannah sparrow after really looking at the pics I took of the bird. though because of The yellowish streak.
