Re: A day out in beautiful Chicago
Recall a few week's ago something like 22 homicides reported in the Windy city in 24 hour's.
Geez,I thought Kansas City 30 miles south of me was bad.
For sure would do my sight seeing during the day.
Re: A day out in beautiful Chicago
Insane photos!!! Really enjoyed looking at them. I didn't make it into Chicago during NADA, so really appreciate seeing all the sights through your photos. Especially Willis Tower and Wrigley Field. Thanks for sharing!!

Love the photos Ricardo. The one with you in the glass elevator is a little unnerving. I suspect I have an mild "undeclared" fear of heights.

Thanks for all the pics Ricardo. I never left the hotel, had to stay at my vendor table, except for Arden and his wife taking me to Josie's. Now I get to see some of what I missed. Sorry you and I never got to chat at NADA. But I see you were busy!

I did not get unnerved at any point during the outing. In all honesty, I think I did not make it to any areas where these stats may be relevant to. The areas I visited could not have been nicer. Much nicer than that of Los Angeles, that is for sure.

I saw that you were busy with the video recording. I kept meaning to ask you questions about the video taking, but kept getting distracted.

A lot of people seem to be scared by it. It is very well built and at no point was I scared. Granted, I have never been scared of heights, in fact, I am a thrill junkie, but this didn't even register in the "crazy" scale of things that I have done, lol.

I am sorry we didn't get to chat either. Loved your table and got to see some items when you weren't there (under wraps though it was). I feel I missed out talking to a lot of people. Again, I felt like I kept getting distracted by so many things, lol.

I enjoyed taking them :). Such a photogenic city. I wish I would have arrived Wednesday and I would have made a day of just walking downtown. It is so hustle and bustle and the sights are just beautiful.

Wrigley was something else! Really loved that stadium. I have been to the Dodgers stadium countless times and I have never gotten that feeling of good ol' traditional baseball like I did that day at Wrigley. The construction was a pain, and not having dedicated parking was absolutely astonishing. If this were to happen at the Dodgers stadium, and you had to park all around the stadium in resident neighborhoods, I am sure people here would riot, lol.
Re: A day out in beautiful Chicago
You have done more than I've done in Chicago and i live there... lol... Glad you were able to enjoy your time here in Chicago.

You should see my brothers memory card. On Saturday he was gone from 9am till about 10pm when he showed up at the fish room to usher me to my room, lol.
He went quite a few places. Again, I wasn't regretting not going with him, but I really wish I could have seen the sights.
