Recently I went to one of my LFS which supplys discus from one of our sponsors actually...the fish look beautiful and seem to be happy.
As I looked more closely I saw multiple very small holes all around the nostril area....are these normal? I think its the beginnings of hole in the head, but i am not sure....

Hope that helps. Remember that HITH is not that bad it is due to poor food and bad water also stress.
