March 2018 Discus Room Tour
Reinstalled my RO/DI system to kickstart my breeding projects. Having taken off from breeding for awhile, it's exciting to already have a batch of FaceSpotted Eruption x Leopard Snakeskin fry growing by themselves already. 7 pairs are actively laying eggs, and there are 4 more that should start soon. The males are stilling trying to get back in the hang of things so fertilization has been less than ideal, but using RO/DI is allowing me to bring my tap water of 150tds down to the 50-80 ranges, with a temp of 80-84 Fahrenheit.... my preferred breeding conditions.
Please make sure the settings on the video are for HD for the best image :)

Very nice! I thought I was busy with just 2 tanks lol
What an awesome set up, my dream would be to have a whole room just of fish!
Re: March 2018 Discus Room Tour
Thanks guys! It's a lot of work but when you sit down at the end of a 500gallon water change and look at the fish, it really is rewarding and I often forget just how much is going on in the room.
Re: March 2018 Discus Room Tour
Very nice setup. Looking forward to the progress on your breeding pairs. Beautiful fish.
