First Annual Discus Hobbyist Challenge

For over five years, SimplyDiscus has been accumulating thousands of posts containing a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of discus keeping. It's time to put those acquired skills to good use! Six American and three Australian hobbyists have been selected to participate in our First Annual Discus Hobbyist Challenge to see who can raise the biggest and best discus!

Contest fish were generously donated by Darren Burgess of A1 Aquarium World for our Australian members and Al Sabetta (brewmaster15) for our American members.

Each member selected has been given a designated sub-forum in which to post frequent pictures and logs/updates of the contest fish. The contest will run for approximately six to eight months at which time a winner will be selected from the US and Australia.

This contest is dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and fellow hobbyist, Barb Newell.
