Its a cool Pile of Rocks

Theres a neat touristy place in CT we've taken the kids for years.. Its a park with nice grounds and a wealth of history. Located on The Connectcut River, is a a castle. A castle built just about 100 Years ago by a then famous Actor, William Gillette. Gillette was famous for his role as Sherlock Holmes back then. He played on stage and in Silent Movies. He acted the role of Sherlock something like 1300 times. His castle was a masterpiece and the inside is far more impressive but I have to dig up those pics. Its usually only open inside at Holidays like Christmas when its decorated. My daughter needed to get some material for a project shes working on so we took a road trip.

The sun was high and contrasty, harsh light but I think you will see its a pretty cool little castle..

If you are from New England you may have visited ? I see many out of state cars theres visiting as its near a famous Opera House, The Good Speed, also on the CT River.

Although the lighting is a bit harsh, it lends itself well to the subject. Very interesting structure and I can see why you guys like visiting.

Ricardo! Thanks!
She is writing a Book.Its her passion. She actually has finished it and is working on revisions. There are elements of that castle and area that she may work into the story.
