Very nice. Welcome again to the neighborhood.
Will you begin breeding discus again? I'd be interested in learning how you're handling the water situation there in Antioch . . .
Hi Don,
Yes, hopefully I will be breeding Discus real soon.
I am worried about the water situation here in Antioch, California.
As you probably know or heard I stopped breeding Discus about a year ago. I had a about 6 pairs or so that never stopped breeding (or it seemed so) I had a special breeding section away from the other fish. I sold thousands of fry in the Bay Area and other nearby States people would drive from....I don't do shipping.
I kept adding grow out tanks and the place was half full of Discus fry.
In other words I saturated the area with Discus....If you buy six or 12 or more, then when are you going to need more.
I sold all the fry and pairs. I figured I'll wait a year or so then start up again, but now I'm getting the itch real bad to start again.
Then this drought happened and will not go away.
There is hope

Sounds good, Rick. Although I live in Virginia, was born and raised on the peninsula, lived in Gilroy many years. Always keep tuned in to what's happening out west. Fingers crossed for lots of rain / snow this winter.
Hi Don,
Years back when I was in screen printing sales, Gilroy was part of my territory. We screen printed scratch off lotto tickets.
As for breeding Discus again. I'm on the lookout to purchase 2 or 3 breeding pairs, I haven't decided what strains I want yet.
