Very nice reading!! This thread worth every line of text :). With regards to the bad breakout I've just experienced something similar myself I introduced 2 discus from discus sanctuary in my stendker tank after QT and they were asymptomatic carrier of a bacterial disease, result: Every single stendker discus got ill :(. The good news is that I managed the situation (I'had to see 5 discus lying horizontally on their side for a while) now they are all safe and sound :).
Thanks for the great read guys.
Truly 2 of the great treasures in the discus industry.
Chad

great reading and informative. Thank you guys for sharing.
1 question : what are the secrets and advices to keep 2 hobbiysts working together for long time?
Let me answer that and Rod & Bob can correct me if needed (I know these guys long enough to know lol)
If 2 hobbiest/friends do this together for the love of the Discus, it last a long long time, at the moment the love of the Discus is changing in trying to make as much as possible money out of this............ it's over with the friendship.
It's all about the LOVE for the Discus and what you are doing that makes it last a long time.
Hans
Thank you Hans.
Hans for the win! If Bob and I depended on this for money we would no longer be friends. Fun hobbie for sure, importing is nice, but still a hobbie.
Rodrigo
ie thank God for the day job. I enjoyed putting this all together and finally read about Bob's worst time with discus (which involved Rod also). Can only wow and glad to see Bob and Rod come out of that with the passive intact.
