My #1 go to trip like this for visitors is to visit Multnomah Falls and then head over to Hood River and eat/drink at Pfriem.
Nice. Have you been to rogue ? They opened a small place in San Francisco. Obviously their beer is amazing but their food was really impressive as well

That's my backyard. Their beers are great, but a bit expensive for regular consumption.

The price we pay for great beer :)
Here is a small brewery we visited in Scottsdale while there for spring training baseball. The owner took us downstairs to their private brew room was pretty cool. Attachment 110714

I love a good ale, but also really love my stouts. I used to brew some seriously good chocolate stouts so I try stouts everywhere I can. One of our local breweries has one thats very different.

It tastes like a chocolate stout but it looks like a golden Ale. Really good on a hot day!

Im pretty picky about my stouts and I enjoy a good guiness on tap at the pub... i had not been able to find a stout with a good head on it .... the guiness with the widgets in the can are great for that but then I tried this
one...

One of new favorites... even has that classic rolling head to it.
