Evil Eye of the L46 momma

Well, mistakes happen. This morning, my dominate L46 female was popping out of her cave and flaring whenever I walked by. She did this several times before I had to check tank conditions and make sure everything was okay. Temp was 72F; forgot to plug the heater back in last night after the water change. Back to 82F, and she's back to loafing around in her cave. But look at that glare! :flame:

Those L46's sure are beauties when you're able to get a good look at them. Good picture and good story to go with it.

Thanks! You actually see them a fair bit if you paint the bottom or use substrate. The juvies and males rarely leave structure, but the females are always scooting around.
