I hear it's going to be a bitter cold week.
..temps will fall here to minus -28 to -30degs with wind chills around minus 55-60 degs.....got the snow cleared, and we're battening the hatches....bbrrrrrrr....this is dangerous cold..
I hope you guys have generators . Losing power in that type of cold could be really bad, life threatening.

We're having a decent winter so far along the coast of Nova Scotia. Some snow but mostly heavy rain and I'm happy to have it come down liquid. No snow on the ground here in Halifax, but more snow followed by rain again tomorrow. The weather is odd tho;one day it's frigid and the next warm and record breaking.Seems to be heavier rain and stronger wind in present day weather.I guess we are making more water evaporate these days and needs to come down somewhere.Spring is on it's way;cherry blossoms are coming out in Victoria.BTW,hot weather kills more Canadians than cold weather.
Hope you manage to cope, this winter here so far has not been too bad, 2 years ago it was much worse...

It's the warmest we've been since Monday. Hope to break 0 tomorrow. Woohoo!
I get homesick often, I've even planted the seed with my boss to eventually return back to our Chicago location in the near future........after seeing all of this go on, I think I'll stay in Texas :p
We made it!
Once more into the breach! (Actually, it's hard to believe that last week was 15 - 20 degrees colder than this.)
Looks like my place as the snow has been blown into drifts.
