Stocking numbers for non-Discus fish
Hello,
I recently purchased a 90 gallon tall aquarium which I'll be using as a minimally planted (mostly mosses, swords, and anubius) show tank for discus. I am also planning cardinals, blue rams, and sterbai corys. I will probably do about 7 fully grown discus. How many of the other fish species should I plan on?
Thank you for any help,
Adam
Re: Stocking numbers for non-Discus fish
It's part personal preference and then dependant on how many water changes you are up to and if your filter can handle the bioload.
50 - 100 cardinals
2 or 4 blue rams in m/f pairs
8—12 sterbai corys
(4 albino bristlenose pleco:-)
