Discus pair breeding in planted community tank

I realize this forum is mostly for people who are *intentionally* breeding discus but I thought this might be of interest.

Our densely planted tank has 6 discus, 20 or so cardinals, a couple of SAEs and ottos, some Cories, and a large (self-sustaining) population of shrimp (from the red cherry population).

Two of the discus have paired off and bred. Impressively, they have managed to keep everything together for several days now in the free-swimming stage. I'm not sure how far they'll make it but so far they are showing real skill.

There is a video at the link below; the quality is not great but you can get a pretty good idea of the situation. I believe the smaller one is the female (by quite a large margin she is actually the smallest of the 6 discus). The clutch of eggs was only 15-20 or so, and I county roughly that many fry now.
