Yes, but do dry off both surfaces as well as possible.
Cyanoacrylate gel is working ok when wet. You just have to press the plant down until it dries. Is this a fast setting glue?Quote:

I know a lot of folks like to use cigarette filters as a base and glue plants to that. The filter dries hard very quickly so you don't have to hold down plants for long.
